Time to Read

I've finished round one of edits for MMR, including application of edits. Beta 2 is currently reading it and giving me feedback. I feel like I'm procrastinating because while I do want to read my novel and know I need to so I can see how it reads, I really don't want to. I had ordered some books a couple weeks ago and they've all arrived and I have a couple of books otherwise that I'm wanting to read and some of them are from the library so I don't have a ton of time with them so I'm speed reading some books and putting off some in my personal collection and it's a little insane.

Luckily most of the books I have in my collection that I'm currently wanting to read are collections of short stories so they should go fast. I'm currently reading:
Fangs - a vampire short story collection
American Gods - Neil Gaiman - regular book, slow going and very thick,
Dresden Files - Jim Butcher - blame LTGDomo for getting me hooked. I'm on book 7 and the digital collection of the library has books 7 through 12 in a collection so I have all of them there. >.>
New Paths to Animal Totems - lupagreenwolf is on my currently reading shelf on Goodreads, but I haven't opened it because I want to give it the time it deserves and that means not being distracted by things. Hoping to get to that very soon.

I've got a bunch of books that I want to read this year. And I've got a bunch of projects to start working on. And that means I need to move my butt and read MMR and start plotting things for coming months and get working on things. It's not that hard, really it's not! Time to work on things. Maybe I can get more than I think done today. Hmm...
