Chapter 11
The two of them continued the night and ended up crashing in bed. Anna stirred and cuddled up to Liam. When she did he would shift and pull her closer to him.
Long into the early hours of the morning they slept. Soon enough a pair of bugs arrived at Anna’s window and pried it open. Liam and Anna shifted into wolves when Adam’s howl reached them. Anna was the first to bolt out the window, Liam’s wolf was cautious and almost scared. They raced through the city and to the outskirts. Theodore was on his way home from work when he saw one white wolf run across the street. He slammed on his brakes and rubbed his eyes. He started on his way again when a light grey wolf darted into the street and froze, facing him.
He slammed on his brakes again and put his car in park, catching eyes with the creature. Theodore wasn’t sure what to think and he turned off his radio to hear howling. The wolf turned his head and looked back to Theodore as if telling him to follow. Theodore nodded and watched the wolf as he ran before following along. “I can’t believe I’m doing this. It’s nuts!” He said as he drove.
Liam’s wolf was similar to Anna’s in color. If it wasn’t for the touch of grey tint that he had Liam’s wolf would look like a male version of Anna’s. Theodore followed Liam and Liam followed Anna, but Anna was following something more primal. An instinct to find an Alpha wolf.
